An analog analog
This is not your typical notes app!
In simpler times, if someone had an idea they wanted to remember, they’d jot it down in a notebook. If they had another, it would go right below the earlier one. When it became irrelevant, they’d cross it out.
This app is that: a note taking app reminiscent of pen and paper, where the only form of organization was the sequence the notes were written in. With Appended, if you have a thought, you append it to your only ongoing note. If some entry is no longer relevant, you can cross it out, or delete it, but there is no temptation – because there’s no ability – to edit or organize.

Searching your notes is as simple as it is powerful: Appended will show matching notes with each key press.
All you need is a vague idea of what you’re looking for and search will work for you.

Notes you’ve written recently are naturally more relevant to you, and if that changes, you can simply strike them.
Stricken notes are still there, and just as searchable, but they are hidden unless you tap “Show stricken notes,” allowing you to focus on those still relevant.
